The valves' technical design is based on media and application requirements. This can lead to deviations from the general specifications shown on the data sheet with regards to the design, sealing materials and characteristics.
This type is a pneumatically or hydraulically actuated valve with 2 port connections and 2 switching positions. As standard, the control is carried out via a direct mounted pilot 5/2-way valve, or via a pilot valve cluster, provided by the customer.
The PCB has been especially designed for highly abrasive, adhesive, aggressive or toxic media. This valve series is highly successfully used for glue applications, bonding technology as well as for coolant supply in mechanical engineering, up to 25 bar.
The special feature of the PCB is that it is hermetically sealed to the outside by a metal bellows and is also equipped with a wear resistant valve seat; this is because the media hardens when making contact with air, which would destroy a conventional valve. The PCB can be used as a single valve as well as in a module or manifold. At the same time, the proven cartridge design also ensures an economical and space-saving installation.
By utilizing air throttles on the pilot valve, the switching times can be adjusted by the customer as desired. Switching delays of up to three seconds when opening and closing are possible. This feature helps to prevent hydraulic shocks in piping systems.
The valves can be equipped with many options such as alternative pilot valves, limit switches, mounting brackets, diverse plug connections such as M12x1 DESINA / VDMA.
