Tested valves are type-tested solenoid valves with two or three connections and two switching positions. These are safety shut-off valves in the basic closed position. The type examination ensures that, in the event of a drop in voltage, all valves seal closed within one second and thus reliably shut off the fuel supply (safety valve).
The DVGW version includes valves that are only approved for gaseous fuels according to the DVGW G 260 (A) (only for gas burners). The nominal widths 15, 20, and 25 mm are available in the steel-nickel-coated version.
The TÜV version is a valve that is only used for liquid fuels according to DIN EN ISO 23553-1 are approved (only for oil burners). The nominal widths 10, 15, 20, and 25 mm are available in the version galvanized steel.
The ATEX valves are directly controlled solenoid valves with two or three connections and two switching positions. These EX valves are approved for ATEX Zone 1 Category 2 and are used wherever explosive gases and dusts are to be expected, but not in mining. The ATEX valves are available in a nominal width of 1.5 to 50 mm. The pressure range extends from vacuum to 500 bar medium pressure. The technical details can be found in the data sheets. The bandwidth of the flow factor (KV value) ranges from a few liters to 28 m³/h. The design is application-specific, delivery either in a socket or a flange version, but always with a junction box.
